Kayseri is a province in the central anatolien area. It is one of the oldest towns of the world and became known as Cappadocia during the classical age. Kayseri is in the south of the red river and applies up to the salt river (Tuz Golu) and the Euphrates river (Firat) where also at the same time the silk road carried out. One of the most important volcanoes of Turkey is the Erciyes mountain with a high of 3,917 meters. It is also known as one of the biggest skiing areas of Turkey.
